This campaign has concluded, and we successfully raised $42,250 for Saving Amy! Thank you to each and every donor for your meaningful contribution!
The Saving Amy Foundation and The David R. Sellers Foundation (DRS), which is named after the Founder of LGE Design Build, partnered for the "Changing Lives in 30 Days" campaign which took place during the month of July. The two organizations built a unique partnership to help create unity among the community, transform lives, and help reduce and resolve homelessness.
The David R. Sellers Foundation had the bold goal of raising $10,000, however, their network far exceeded that goal by raising $22,250.
LGE Design Build matched the funds by contributing $10,000 and local investment and real estate development firm, Creation, also generously contributed $10,000, amounting to $42,250 total funds raised in the month of July alone!
“Now more than ever millions of people are faced with a lack of safe, reliable housing,” said Carrie Masters. “I am proud of the overwhelming generosity of our community, LGE and Creation that helped us exceed our goal for the Changing Lives in 30 Days campaign. It’s amazing what people can do when they come together with one common goal, to help those experiencing homelessness get back on their feet again.”
The $42,250 grant will help fund Saving Amy’s five life-changing programs which support families as they transition out of homelessness. Each program meets the unique needs of the individual or family in their journey to build stability and restore confidence in their lives.
LGE Design Build formed the David R. Sellers Foundation in 2014. By partnering with nonprofit organizations, the foundation has been able to give back to the community with a core focus on ending the cycle of youth homelessness and providing care to children battling cancer.
Saving Amy was founded with a mission to empower individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. The organization transforms lives through mentoring, instruction in life skills, educational advancement, and financial stability through employment.
